Mr. Andre McCarter is the inventor of the Touch Glove and Founder of Classic Success, LLC. Mr. McCarter is a renowned basketball legend at the high school level reigning from Philadelphia ’s famous Overbrook High School where he is a 2006 Hall of Fame inductee. At Overbrook, McCarter as a senior in 1971 was the Pennsylvania All-State "Player of the Year" and led Overbrook to its second consecutive Philadelphia City Championship. He averaged 22.0 points, 12.0 rebounds and 11.0 assists and was a unanimous high school All-American. While in the collegiate level at UCLA, Andre McCarter was a two-year starting point guard, who in 1975 as a junior, helped lead the Bruins coached by legendary John Wooden to his final NCAA Championship, the 10th in school history. Also, he would break the NCAA single game assists record (14) in a championship game. As a Bruin, he appeared in 86 games, averaging 6.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 4.4 assists. McCarter has not only achieved at the high school and collegiate basketball levels, but also, accomplished top play at the professional level in the NBL - National Basketball League (1976 Kansas City Kings), the CBA – Continental Basketball Association (Rochester Zeniths), and overseas. Beyond playing, Andre McCarter has served at various institutions as a coach and mentor to numerous young aspiring basketball players helping them to better their game. He is true teacher of the fundamentals of the game of basketball and a great humanitarian.
